Hewi & Sam

Last Friday I had the privilege of heading back down south to St Albans to photograph Hewi and Sam’s special day.  I always love doing jobs down south because it’s going “home” for me and St Albans has lots of happy memories for me.

Hewi and Sam had a lovely ceremony in their church (Vineyard Church St Albans) and then went to St Michael’s Manor with a small number of family and close friends for their wedding breakfast before partying the night away in the town hall later on in the evening.

It was a gorgeous mild autumnal day which was very different last year when we had snow on the ground!  The colours in the trees were stunning and Hewi and Sam looked so happy.  I loved taking their photos because they are such a fun couple to spend time with.  They wanted a real mixture of your typical wedding photos but also some more fun and relaxed shots which I loved taking for them.  I took photos of Sam in her wedding dress and wellies, a few of them both in fancy dress accessories and then a couple of them in St Albans sat at a bus stop where we got a few Japanese tourists to pose in the shots for us too!

I wish them both all the best in their married life together.  Here are a few of their photos.
