Saturday’s Captivating – The Heart of Fashion was an amazing evening for both fashion and entertainment. It was a spectacular event where so many talents all came together in one place.
I had the priviledge of photographing the event and wanted to share a few photos with you that highlight the sponsers from the event as well as the entertainers and a few “behind the scenes” shots.
Before the event kicked off there was a VIP reception for those who had supported and sponsored the event. The headline sponsors were Autosave. Other sponsors were Capita Symonds, SuperTram, Sheffield City Taxis. It was all put on in association with Sheffield Hallam University, Bravura, City Hall, Sheffield City of Culture, HallamFM, Creative Sheffield & Natasha Lyons Styling.
The evening started off with a fantastic performace by the Hope City Theatre Group.
To end the first half of the show we had a wonderful performace by the stunning Sophie Mei.
During the interval I went back stage to see how everyone was getting on. There was a real buzz with everyone running around getting their outfits on and having their make up retouched. Here are a few shots to give you the feeling of what was going on.
To kick off the second half of the show ICE came on to perform. They were awesome to watch.
To finish off an amazing show the Hope City Theatre Company came back on stage to perform a flawless Grande Finale from Hairspray…”Welcome to the Sixties”.
An amazing show which raised £25,000 for a very worthwhile charity.
I am looking forward to Captivating – The Heart of Fashion 2011.
